The book was Pat Kilbane's The Brain Eater's Bible. Kilbane is a very funny guy, so I anticipated some humor, but the tome turned out to be a well-researched and very entertaining example of what black comedy should be.4/5.
It took me a long time to get into this book as the beginning is long and drawn out. The mystery behind the unexplained violent deaths kept me intrigued. Overall it’s a pretty good listen and the narrator was pleasant to listen to. It’s definitely a different take on.
